Saint Nicholas was a historic 4th century Christian Saint and Greek Bishop of Myra. He was also known as Nikolaos of Myra. He had inherited a lot of money from his parents so he was a very wealthy man. He was also a very kind man obeying Jesus’ words to “sell what you own and give the money to the poor”. He had a reputation for helping the poor and giving secret gifts to people who needed it.

Saint Nicholas was the man behind the story of Father Christmas / Santa Claus.

Saint Nicholas’ Day also called Feast of Saint Nicholas is observed on December 6. Wishing you and your family a very blessed Saint Nicholas’ Day filled with kindness, generosity and love!

“The giver of every good and perfect gift has called upon us to mimic His giving, by grace, through faith, and this is not of ourselves.” ― St. Nicholas
